Joseph A. Quagliata of Rockville Centre recently received the Community Service Award from the Congregation B'nai Sholom-Beth David in Rockville Centre in recognition of his dedication and commitment to ensuring that local residents have "convenient access to high-quality compassionate health care services." Quagliata is president and chief executive of South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, which he joined in 1973 as chief financial officer. He is also a past chair of the Healthcare Association of New York State's board of trustees and the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council's board of directors.
