Kenyatta Lyons of Amityville has received the Living the Mission Award from Catholic Health Services of Long Island for exemplifying the values of respect, justice, integrity and excellence. Lyons is a home health-aid coordinator for Good Shepherd Hospice, where she has worked for the past 11 years, and started as a support staff employee in the organization's Babylon office. She is also a member of the Hollywood Full Gospel Baptist Cathedral Church in Amityville and a volunteer and mentor with the United North Amityville Youth Organization.
