Lisa Millstein of Plainview was one of 15 individuals worldwide to be awarded a Muhammad Ali Center Global Citizenship Scholarship of $10,000 in recognition of her commitment to the principles of humanitarianism espoused by the former boxer. Millstein is a sophomore and professional communications major at Farmingdale State College, where she has worked to create a resumé presentation program, called "Prezumé," that allows viewers to easily zoom in and out of presented material. She plans to use some of scholarship funds to travel to London and learn about media culture in the United Kingdom.
