Margaux DelGuidice of Lynbrook was recently named a Mover & Shaker in the library industry by Library Journal based on her "commitment to helping librarians assume leadership roles within their schools and communities," the publication said. DelGuidice is a teacher librarian at Garden City High School, a part-time youth services librarian at Freeport Memorial Library, and an adjunct professor of academic writing and research at St. Joseph's College in Patchogue. She is also a member of the American Library Association, the American Association of School Librarians, and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
