Marge Rogatz of Port Washington has received the Outstanding Fundraising Volunteer Award for 2013 from the Association of Fundraising Professionals' Long Island Chapter for demonstrating "exceptional leadership as a volunteer in the Long Island fundraising community," the organization said. Rogatz has been president and CEO of Community Advocates in Roslyn Heights since 1986 and is a founder of the Nassau-Suffolk Coalition for the Homeless, for which she has also served as an officer and as a member of its executive board. In addition, she is a founding board member of ERASE Racism, a founder of Sustainable Long Island, and a founder of the Long Island Campaign for Affordable Rental Housing.
