Maria Teresa Quirk of Lloyd Harbor recently received the Preserving the Trust Award from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage on Long Island and Queens for "demonstrating a commitment to the advancement and equality of home ownership for all by addressing social issues." Quirk is a licensed associate broker with Coldwell Banker's Huntington office and an affordable-housing board member for the Town of Huntington. She is also president of Huntington Township Housing Coalition, co-chair of Huntington's Hispanic Task Force, and a member of the New York State Association of Realtors, Long Island Board of Realtors and the Village of Lloyd Harbor's Conservation Board.
