Marie Magliano of Baiting Hollow has been named Franchise Owner of the Year for the USA by Uniglobe Travel International for her "exemplification of business growth and retention." Magliano has been chairman and CEO since 2007 of Uniglobe Travel Partners, which has 11 offices throughout the U.S. She has also held financial and accounting managerial positions at various comapnies, such as Panasonic and Butler Aviation at LaGuardia Airport and in Paramus, N.J., and is a founding member of the board of trustees for the Heart of Gold Foundation.
