Martin Fisher of Plainview received the 2010 Adele Dellenbaugh Hoffmann Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics for "excellence in the field of adolescent health." He is chief of adolescent medicine and medical director of the Eating Disorders Program at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York in New Hyde Park. He is also past president of both the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine and the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
