Mary Sheehan-Lohne of West Hempstead recently received the Rose Kryzak Senior Leadership Award from United Adult Ministries for her "good work on behalf of older adults." Sheehan-Lohne is director of social services at the Cliffside Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Flushing, where she handles caseloads of the short-term rehabilitation unit and oversight of psychology services at the nursing and dialysis units. She is also credited with assisting residents at Gouverneur Healthcare Services in Manhattan with the changes in immigration regulations in 1996.
