Patrick McCarthy of Dix Hills will be honored next month at the holiday gala of Life's WORC, a Garden City-based nonprofit providing support for those with developmental disabilities. McCarthy, who will be honored for his "major contributions" to Life's WORC, is principal of the law firm McCarthy & Carbone and a member of the New York State and Suffolk County bar associations. His involvement in Life's WORC stems from his family's foundation, the Michael McCarthy Foundation, which provides funding to nonprofits in the health, education and arts fields.
