Phyllis Shulman of Oceanside has received the Living the Mission Award from Catholic Health Services of Long Island for "exemplifying the values of respect, justice, integrity and excellence," the organization said. Shulman has worked as a physical therapist for Catholic Home Care for the past seven years and before that was a physical therapist supervisor at North Shore Home Care. She was nominated for the award by her colleagues.
