Richard J.J. Sullivan Jr. of Babylon recently received the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Award from Catholic Health Services of Long Island in recognition of his "extraordinary service" to the church. Sullivan is chairman and chief executive of CM&F Group, a Manhattan-based insurance brokerage and agency, and is a member of the Diocese of Rockville Centre's Insurance Board. He is also chairman of Catholic Health Services' Board of Directors and recently served as the organization's interim executive chairman unpaid for almost a year while the search was under way for a new president and CEO.
