Robert E. Brase of Dix Hills has received the Administrator of the Year Award from the New York State Theatre Education Association based on his career achievements and dedication to the field. Brase is director of fine and performing arts for the Oceanside School District, where he oversees the art, music, theater and arts-in-education programs. He also serves as president of the Art Supervisors Association of Nassau County and is the chairman of Nassau BOCES' Arts in Education program.
