Robert G. Allen of Northport was recently honored at Ride for Life's 16th annual Kick Off event in recognition of his continued and longtime support of people living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease). Allen has been president and CEO of Teachers Federal Credit Union since 1988 and is chairman of the College at Old Westbury's School of Business advisory board. He is also president-elect of the Advancement for Commerce, Industry & Technology in Farmingdale and a member of the Long Island Museum's board of trustees and the Staller Center for the Arts' advisory council, among other organizations.
