Robert McBride of Dix Hills recently received the Declaration of Independence Award from Israel Bonds, an organization that sells securities issued by the government of Israel, based on his "staunch support that helps develop every aspect of Israel's economy." McBride is a senior vice president at Park Strategies, a local public policy and business development firm, and a past president of the Taxicab, Limousine and Paratransit Association. He has also served on boards of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, United Way of Long Island, and the Education & Assistance Corp. in Hempstead, for which he served as board chairman.
