Scott Guber of Dix Hills will receive the Heart of Hope Award this week from the North Shore Animal League in Port Washington based on his dedication and service to the organization. Guber is president of Scott F. Guber CPA, Pc, a Commack-based accounting firm specializing in business management for the entertainment industry. He has served as captain of a fundraising group called Team Animal League since 2008 and has raised more than $20,000 for the facility through the ING New York City Marathon.
