Dr. Stacey E. Rosen of Roslyn has received the 2011 Cardiovascular Science Award from the American Heart Association based on her efforts "raising support and creating awareness about heart disease and stroke as it pertains to the Long Island community." Rosen is associate chair of cardiology for North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System and is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and echocardiography. She also serves as president of the board of directors of the association's Long Island region.
