Stephanie Jacobson of Bellmore was recently honored by Temple B'nai Torah of Wantagh and the United Jewish Appeal Federation of New York in recognition of "her tireless work for the temple, the community and Jewish causes." Jacobson is the temple's former sisterhood president and is an adjunct professor with St. John's University's Fine Arts Department and the Art League of Long Island. She is also a member of the Art Guild of Port Washington and has seen her art exhibited in a number of galleries, including the Shenzhen Art Institute in China.
