Sudesh Ramsaran of Long Beach recently received the Living the Mission Award from Catholic Health Services of Long Island for "exemplifying the values of respect, justice, integrity and excellence," the organization said. Ramsaran has been a member of the building services team at Catholic Health Services' Melville office since 2010 and has nearly 30 years of experience as an electrician with various companies, including multinational petroleum company BP. He also assisted neighbors by contributing food and checking on their safety in the aftermath of superstorm Sandy.
