Virginia A. Clavin of Valley Stream recently received the Milton Mollen Commitment to Excellence Award from the New York State Unified Court System based on her "outstanding professionalism, dedication and steadfast commitment" to the court system. Clavin is principal law clerk to Judge Christopher Quinn and was appointed acting attorney in charge of the Nassau County District Court Law Department in 2010. She is also a member of the Village of Valley Stream's Board of Trustees, the Nassau County Bar Association, and the Valley Stream Youth Council, among other organizations.
