Virginia Davis of Montauk recently received the 2012 Outstanding Lodging Employee of the Year Award from the New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association in recognition of her dedication and service to the industry. Davis is a conference and banquet administrator at Gurney's Inn Resort Spa and Conference Center in Montauk, where she has worked since 1975. She was honored this spring at the association's 2012 Stars of the Industry Gala & Award Banquet in Albany.
