Warren S. Hoffman of East Meadow has received a 2011 President's Award from the Nassau County Bar Association for his "extraordinary hard work and dedication" as chair of the association's Grievance Committee. Hoffman is a partner at Mineola-based law firm Hoffman & Behar Llp, where he practices matrimonial and family law and business transactions, among other things. He also owns two divorce mediation companies, Divorce/Separation Mediation Services of Long Island in Mineola and Rainbow Mediation Center in Manhattan, and serves on Nassau County Community College's Paralegal Advisory Committee.
