William J. Fishlinger of Manhasset was recently honored at the 2012 Scholarship Tribute Dinner of the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale based on his "business acumen, commitment to education, and support of the college's mission." Fishlinger is the founder, chairman and chief executive of Uniondale-based insurance consulting firm Wright Risk Management and is credited with forming the state's first public-sector cooperative purchasing programs, among other things. He is also a member of the Nassau County, New York State and American bar associations and has served in a number of leadership positions with the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.
