Cedomir Petrovic

Physicist

Cedomir Petrovic of Sound Beach has received the Marko Jaric Award from the Marko Jaric Foundation for his achievements in physics. Petrovic is a physicist at Brookhaven National Laboratory, which he joined in 2002, and is one of the principal investigators in the lab's Energy Frontier Research Center, which is used to research the underlying nature of superconductivity in complex materials. He is also an adjunct professor of physics at John Hopkins University in Baltimore.
