Douglas C. Manditch of St. James was recently honored at the Holiday Celebration Gala coordinated by the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook for "deep commitment to corporate philanthropy that benefits the entire community." He is chairman and CEO of Islandia-based Empire National Bank. He is also on the boards of Thomas Hartman Foundation for Parkinson's Research and the YMCA of Long Island, and is co-chairman of the honorary board of the Suffolk County Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
