Nephrologist

Richard N. Fine of Stony Brook has received a 2010 Jose Strauss Visiting Professorship Award from by the University of Miami for his appearance as a guest faculty member at its 37th Annual Pediatric Nephrology Seminar in March. Fine is a pediatric nephrologist and served as dean of Stony Brook University's School of Medicine until July. He has also served as president of the International Pediatric Transplants Association and American Society of Transplantation.
