Winners: Eileen Goldman named Tutor of the Year

Eileen Goldman

of East Meadow has been named Tutor of the Year from Literacy Nassau, a Freeport-based organization that promotes and fosters literacy in Nassau County. Since 2007, Goldman has served as a tutor with Literacy Nassau, where she teaches English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) in both oral and written formats. She also trains other tutors at Uniondale Public Library and is a retired speed pathologist for Massapequa school district.
