Frank and Karen Boulton of Brightwaters will receive this month the Horace Hagedorn Outstanding Philanthropist award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals' Long Island Chapter in recognition of "generosity that inspires others to give and make a difference in the Long Island community," the organization said. Frank is founder and CEO of the Long Island Ducks and chairs the QuackerJack Foundation, the baseball team's charitable arm that works with more than 800 nonprofits on Long Island. He has also served as chairman of the Great South Bay YMCA's Board of Managers in Bay Shore and chaired the capital campaign that raised $6.2 million to build the YMCA.
