J. Keith Snyder of Coram has been named 2009 director of the year by the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Research and Dance, Nassau County Chapter, for his contributions to local students. Snyder is the athletic director for Levittown School District, where he has worked for nine years, and is the son of former Farmingdale High School athletic director Don Snyder. He was honored at the association's Nassau County conference on March 5.
