Claude Kasman
of Nesconset has been named director of the year by the New York State Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance's council of administrators for his dedication and leadership. Since 2000 Kasman has directed the district's health, PE and athletics programs and helped the district secure a Magna Award for Wellness from the National School Boards Association and a 55,000-square-foot expansion to the high school gym.
