Kanti Rai of

Kings Point has received the Medical Research Award from the Nassau Physicians Foundation for his career achievements. Rai is the chief of hemotology-oncology for North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System in Manhasset and professor of medicine and molecular medicine at Hofstra University's School of Medicine. He is also a co-chairman of the Medical Advisory Board, Lauri Strauss Leukemia Foundation and International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.
