Winners: Lillian Dent honored for small biz efforts

Lillian Dent of Roosevelt was recently honored by the National Association of Women Business Owners of Long Island and the Long Island Association for her contributions as a woman entrepreneur to Long Island's small- business community.

Dent is co-owner of LL Dent in Carle Place, a Southern cuisine restaurant that opened in 2006. She is also financial secretary of the central Nassau chapter of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Club.
