received the Jack Rettaliata Award for lifetime achievement in public relations from the Long Island Association for Public Relations Professionals. Dobrin serves as the public relations consultant for Hicks Nurseries in Westbury and the Adelphi NY Statewide Breast Cancer Hotline & Support Program. She has also done public relations work for the Nature Conservancy, Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island, the Long Island Crisis Center and more.
