Phillips of Greenport has received the Amherst David Farmer Citizen Award from the Long Island Farm Bureau for her efforts to help "shape and mold the future of Long Island's agricultural industry." Phillips is the owner of Alice's Fish Market in Greenport, and has served two terms on the bureau's board of directors. She also served on the Village of Greenport's Zoning Board of Appeals, Planning Board and Historic Preservation Committee.
