Richard Cohen of Hewlett Harbor has received the 2009 Power Broker Award from Maryland-based commercial real estate research company CoStar for his achievements in commercial real estate brokerage. Cohen is founder and principal of Ashlind Properties, a commercial real estate firm in Hauppauge, and closed lease and sale transactions that totaled more than 700,000 square feet in 2009, according to CoStar. The largest transaction was a 120,900-square-foot sublease in Deer Park.
