Richard Gavin

of St. James was

honored at the 2010 annual golf classic of the Family Service League, a Long

Island nonprofit that helps local families improve their quality of life. Gavin, who is chair of the league's board of directors, is a partner at the Jericho-based accounting firm Grassi & Co. and an adjunct professor at Columbia University. He is also active in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Long Island Contractors Association, among other organizations.
