Saundra Gumerove of Jericho has been named 2010 public interest
attorney of the year by Touro College's Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center for her advocacy work for people with special needs. Gumerove is a Jericho-based attorney and a trustee for the supplemental pooled trust of Life's WORC, a Garden City nonprofit that aids in the developmentally disabled. She is also vice president of AHRC-Nassau and an
adjunct professor at St. Joseph's College
in Patchogue.
