Todd and Diane Bello of Stony Brook were honored earlier this month at the 27th annual Salute Your Staff Luncheon & Auction of the Arthritis Foundation's Long Island Chapter for "exemplifying the courage and challenges that arthritis has on affected individuals and their families," the organization said. Todd is a patient advocate and a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service on disability as a result of arthritis, and Diane is an interim registrar at Stony Brook University. They both volunteer for the Arthritis Foundation and National Psoriasis Foundation.
