Tom Schaudel

of East Hampton

was the inaugural inductee last month into the Long Island Dining Alliance's Hall of Fame based on his 40-year career in the Long Island restaurant industry. During his career, Schaudel has cooked at nearly 30 restaurants and has owned 17 restaurants, including founding Panama Hattie's in Dix Hills as well as Lemongrass and Tease in Roslyn, among others. He is also an author and has been featured on the Food Network and the Metro Channel.
