LIE re-opens between Exits 36-39
The Long Island Expressway has re-opened in both directions from Searingtown Road, Exit 36, to Glen Cove Road, Exit 39.
Nassau police closed the strip just before 10 p.m. due to flooding caused by heavy rain.
