With an eye to those who'll be heading home early next week for the start of Passover on Monday and for Good Friday, the Long Island Rail Road is adding eight extra eastbound trains both days in the mid-afternoon, the MTA said.
Trains will run on a regular schedule, but three added trains on both the Babylon and Port Jefferson branches, and one on both the Port Washington and Far Rockaway branches, are scheduled to depart Penn Station in the 2:08 p.m. to 3:48 range, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said.
