LIRR: Ronkonkoma, Port Jefferson branches on or close after delays
The Long Island Rail Road was operating on or close to schedule by 7 a.m. Monday after earlier delays westbound on the Port Jefferson and Ronkonkoma branches.
The railroad said the delays, which had averaged 10 to 15 minutes, were due to signal trouble near Syosset and a broken gate near Westbury.
