LIRR: Long Beach train service restored
Service has been restored to the Long Beach branch of the Long Island Rail Road, which had been suspended between Long Beach and Valley Stream due to a stanchion across the tracks near East Rockaway, the agency said on Twitter.
The stanchion was removed and the railroad is adding an extra westbound train, according to an agency tweet.
