LIRR: no debit, credit sales early Sunday due to network upgrade
The Long Island Rail Road will not accept debit and credit card sales at ticket windows and machines Sunday from 3 to 5:30 a.m. during a network upgrade, the railroad said.
Cash sales will be available during the planned outage, and checks will be accepted at ticket windows.
Purchases made through the MTA eTix app will be accepted, as will cash aboard trains at the station fare, the LIRR said.
