The Long Island Rail Road is operating on a holiday schedule Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, with 32 extra trains.

The commuter rail service said off-peak fares also apply on the holiday.

No train service is offered east of Ronkonkoma on Monday, so customers traveling between Ronkonkoma and Greenport can use the Montauk branch as an alternative, the LIRR said.

Additional information, including branch timetables, is at mta.lirr/info.
