The Long Island Rail Road said train service was suspended for almost two hours in both directions Thursday morning between Port Jefferson and Huntington because of a disabled train.

The disruption on the Port Jefferson Branch was reported at 5:04 a.m. and service was restored as of 6:50 a.m., LIRR said.

Four trains were canceled, the railroad said.
