LIRR: On or close to schedule after signal trouble causes delays
Signal trouble outside the East River tunnels during Tuesday’s morning commute caused scattered westbound delays into Penn Station averaging 10 minutes, the Long Island Rail Road said.
The LIRR sent an email alert to customers about the delays shortly before 9 a.m.
At about 10:15 a.m., the LIRR said it was on or close to schedule.
