Planned track work on seven different Long Island Rail Road branches will impact customers this weekend, LIRR officials said.

On the Port Jefferson branch, where switches will be replaced this weekend, trains between Hicksville and Huntington will run hourly, instead of half-hourly. And on Sunday, buses replace trains between Hicksville and Huntington from 4 p.m. until 1 a.m.

On the Montauk branch, many westbound trains will operate on adjusted schedules Sunday. Eastbound service on the line will be unaffected.

“Important maintenance projects” will also affect some trains Saturday and Sunday on the Oyster Bay, Babylon, Ronkonkoma and West Hempstead branches, according to the LIRR. For detailed schedule information, customers can visit mta.info/lirr/Timetable
