Long Beach will hold a menorah lighting Tuesday night for the first night of Hanukkah.

The city will host the lighting with the Bach Jewish Center at Kennedy Plaza in front of Long Beach City Hall at 1 W. Chester Ave. It is described as Long Island's largest menorah.

Organizers will serve hot potato latkes and hot coffee. The ceremony is set from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
