Sporadic showers and strong gusts Thursday night on Long Island will have passed by Friday morning, with sun and a crisp, dry weekend ahead, according to the National Weather Service.

The winds overnight into Friday morning will range between 14 and 17 mph with occasional gusts as high as 32 mph.

Friday's high should top out at 45 degrees with a low at night of 30, the weather service said.

Clouds mix with the sun Saturday when the high will hit 47. Saturday night will be partly cloudy with a low of 31.

On Sunday, the skies will be mostly clear with a high of 63. Clouds roll in after dark when there will be between a 30% and 60% chance of showers and a low down to 40, the weather service said.
